Take Responsibility: Is that your creation?

1412577633ufc8g-1“You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have charge over.” – Jim Rohn

The more you own responsibility for what’s going on (whether or not you like it) in your life, the more intentional you’ll become. You begin to realize how much control you really do have over your life. This acceptance will increase your power, foster your success and increase your happiness.

We all know how easy it is to accept responsibility for the good but when it comes to outcomes that we don’t like we are quick to point a finger. Imagine how much more focus we will place on events in our life if we just accept responsibility for them.

I encourage you take responsibility for all of your actions keeping in mind that for the most part you are the creator of them all. Creators create so the product is constantly evolving.

These are some of the ways that you can figure out if you take responsibility or shift the blame on others.

  • Listen to the voice in your head.
  • Listen to your own voice.
  • Listen to what your closes family and friends say about you.

Consider in this moment everything in your life (whether or not you like it) is created by you. You get to choose what stays or goes. You have the power to change it.
