“That is the real spiritual awakening, when something emerges from within you that is deeper than who you thought you were. So, the person is still there, but one could almost say that something more powerful shines through the person.” – Eckhart Toll
There is a shift in consciousness happening in the world. This shift isn’t just going to affect those who are aware of the shift but it will affect even the people that try to ignore it. This shift is an intense spiritual awakening that is happening. I spoke about this in the post “Mini Awakenings.” I likened it to waking up and realizing you’re the only one awake. Your level of consciousness will be noticeably different. The things you use to put off for years will come back into your thoughts and they will come with a sense of urgency.
Have you felt the shift?
Have you been craving: honesty, truth, fulfillment, connections, peace, and freedom on a heightened level?
Has it brought a sense of fear at the idea of the achievement of goals that in the past took you years to accomplish?
Do you feel a nagging and tugging sensation in your spirit to be true to yourself?
If you can answer “yes” to these or similar questions then you’re aware of the shift. This shift that is happening will not go away. It will heighten for you and even in the fear of the unknown of where this shift will take you; you will be a better person because of it. As you being to embrace the shift a higher level of consciousness will transform and grow you into your full potential. The growing pains of this process that are brought on by this shift aren’t a laughable moment, so hold on.
That is why I believe mini awakens help you when you start to recognize the trimmers of the shift happening. Allow the mini awakenings to strengthen you. From experience the shift in consciousness will increase from the moment you being to ask yourself life changing questions. Your craving for living a life where you are true to yourself will become so intense that you will wish that you didn’t wake up to being with. This is the new normal.
Have you found yourself saying that the difficult challenges in your life to reinvent yourself are HARD?
If so, it’s because you are constantly trying to hold onto the familiar. The familiar won’t help you and to be completely honest it will heighten those growing pains spoken about earlier. So accept the unknown and know that you are headed in the right direction.
