Have you ever gotten lost in the mall before? You thought you were walking in the right direction but you soon found out you were moving further and further away from your destination. Too proud or stubborn to ask for directions from strangers, right? In your head you’ve told yourself, “I know where I’m going,” as you pass that same jewelry stand for the third time. After awhile you’re exhausted and frustrated. Soon than later (I hope) that still small voice tells you to: STOP, LISTEN, and CENTER yourself and soon your led to the mall directory.
This is a great example (I hope) of life for most of us. We get turned around and we ignore our inter-compass. We ignore advice from friends/family and we run around and around in life further away from our intended destination. Soon we find ourselves frustrated and exhausted. If we STOP, LISTEN, and CENTER ourselves in life and speed towards the directory our inter-voice will say, “You are here!”
I encourage you to STOP, LISTEN and CENTER yourself. Take note of where you are in life and then proceed accordingly.
