What is your life’s work?

1 Corinthians 13:13 – And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

I didn’t know for a long time what my “purpose” was separate from my career and my personal achievements. I would hear other people talk about what they believed they were gifted with and I wanted badly to figure out that question for myself. I searched: the church, books, websites, solicited advice, etc. I thought about all the things that brought me joy but I was never really exact on what it was I was destined to do… so I believed.

Although I am pretty sure now what it is I am destined to do, I have to remind myself that even in knowing that one aim, I need to put LOVE first. In everything I do my aim is LOVE. I fall short sometimes but my hope is that for every day I’m granted life that I pursue it with everything I have.

When you don’t know exactly what you’re purposed to do chose LOVE. So if you’re ever asked the question… “What is your life’s work?” and you believe you don’t know chose LOVE. There is no higher work. There is no higher vibration. There is no greater return.

At the heart of any Life’s Work is a heartbeat, a common thread that will never cease to exist – LOVE.
